Enable JavaScript to draw on the map and edit files. The guide below explains how the editor works.
Create and edit GeoJSON online
Generate GeoJSON by drawing on the map, or open an existing file and edit its geometry. No account is required.
- Create: choose a drawing tool on the map. Click to place points; finish a polygon by clicking its first point.
- Import: choose Open to load GeoJSON, TopoJSON, KML or WKT. Opening another document replaces the current one, so export your work first.
- Edit: use the map's editing tools to move vertices, or change the GeoJSON in the code panel. Fix any validation errors before exporting.
- Export: choose Export and a file format to download your document. GeoJSON keeps feature properties; WKT exports geometry only.
Files are read and converted in your browser. Your geometry, feature properties and file names are not included in usage analytics. Export a copy to keep your work outside this browser.
